| Negative Reaction's first full length lp is entitled "endofyorerror", and is rightfully so. They give any band in the sludge/doom scene a kick in the ass. One of the heaviest bands around today, NR uses feedback as a hammer and the guitars tuned to A as the stake. Don't be alarmed though, this band writes songs with feeling and heart to match creativity and give the listener one hell of a time. This full length cd proves them to be the Gods of Sludge. They can tear through a fast number as well as a slow one, which will make you think you're listening to a combination of Grief, Black Sabbath and Napalm Death. Formed in 1988, NR didn't release their first seven inch until 1993, entitled "Poisoned Friendship", which shows their roots as a hardcore band. In 1994, "We Got Problems" came out and in 1995 the bands third seven inch "Sludge" on the indie label Rotšen Roll Records was released. They have toured with Extreme Noise Terror, Grief, MDC, Internal Bleeding and many others. The band is currently shopping record labels and making a name for themselves in today's underground scene. The band hopes to improve their writing and to just keep on getting heavier. They are currently working on material for their next full length album to be released next year. They are hoping to gain as many listeners that are willing to discover the heaviest band, the Gods of Sludge... |
